Description

A deployment of the AuScope - ANSIR Earth Data Logger pool within the AusLAMP acquisition run jointly by Geoscience Australia and the Geological Survey of Victoria. Twenty-three Earth Data Logger PR6-24 systems, owned and maintained by Adelaide University as part of the ANSIR Earth Sounding capability, recorded three-component magnetic and two-component electric fields at 10 Hz at 71 sites on the AusLAMP half geodetic-degree grid across Victoria between 19 November 2013 and 8 September 2014, totalling 1,699 instrument-days.

Nineteen sites whose Earth Data Logger recordings could not be processed were re-occupied from 2016 with LEMI-424 instruments; that repeat campaign is described by the companion record, https://doi.org/10.82388/jledf3ve.

Funding References
Credit This instrument deployment is part of the AuScope - ANSIR (National Research Facility for Earth Sounding), supported by the Australian Government through the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS). The instruments are owned and operated by The Adelaide University as part of the ANSIR Earth Sounding capability, and were made available for the AusLAMP Victoria field campaign conducted jointly by Geoscience Australia and the Geological Survey of Victoria. The instruments themselves are funded through AuScope under NCRIS; field operations were funded by Geoscience Australia and the Geological Survey of Victoria, and the time-series data release was produced under Geoscience Australia's Resourcing Australia's Prosperity initiative.
